Posterous | Re: Posterous | Re: Printmaking
You know, when you get a new digital camera, you get very excited.
You may even get so excited that you go on a picture taking rampage.
In fact, you may take so many photos on this camera that you become
known among your friends a their own personal paparazzi.
Is this a good thing, you may ask?
I don't know.
But it's happened and now it's history in the making lol.
I love my Nikon Coolpix S60. It's brilliant.

18 Rules
At the start of the new millennium the Dalai Lama apparently issued eighteen rules for living. Since word travels slowly in the digital age these have only just reached me. Here they are.
- Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
- When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
- Follow the three Rs:
- Respect for self
- Respect for others
- Responsibility for all your actions.

Printmaking
You know what? I have to say that this is one of the best classes I've ever taken. Sometimes I have a bit of a hectic life trying to keep up, but it's totally worth it. The result is always worth all the work spent on trying to create the plate or whatever. My BEAUTIFUL screen print was of Clark Gable...based on this picture, in fact.
And so that was my screen print. But we also made a collograph. Boy was that a chore! Even the linocut is better than that! And so concludes my very vague and very short rant on the class that makes me happy always. Okay, okay, so I just wanted to put a picture of ole' Clark up. Can you blame me? *wink*

the door
It took me a while to figure out exactly what to do. But once I did, it was interesting. Remember, this isn't for everyone.
Hint: You need sound.

Cursor*10
Here is a completely pointless game. However, it's completely 100% entertaining. And a nifty idea to boot. So click on the link to see.

THE GAME
I learned about this only a couple of months ago from some friends at school. Of course, I never knew there was an actual website dedicated to it. This is the game. I lose. So do you...because, believe it or not, there's no winning. You must forget about the game asap. If and when you remember it, you have to say "I Lose" out loud. Good luck!
