EepyBird.com
This website is home to a couple of super internet stars.
These two guys have created a phenomena of unique qualities using only diet coke and mentos.
Their "soda show" is not unlike that of the famous Las Vegas Bellagio water show, and it's certainly no less impressive.
Enjoy.

Mind Games
I ask myself questions all the time.
Being on my own a lot, I have the time.
Has anyone ever told you thinking is a dangerous pastime?
Well, it can be...it is for me.
The world inside my head is filled with winding tunnels
and sudden dead-ends.
Will I ever learn to navigate the vast expanse of my mind?
Maybe someday I'll set out to map the world in my brain.
A guide just for me.

Bluenergy
Bluenergy is a fairly new company that has developed a method to power homes and businesses in a fashionable manner. The devices used are wind turbines, but they also serve as solar panels. That way, whether it's windy or not the device will continue to generate power. Not to mention the turbine looks great! You could make it the centerpiece of a sculpture garden and no one would be able to tell that it creates energy. By the way, it's a "green" product.
Here's the link to their website.

Atonement
Here's another brilliant movie that I FINALLY saw even though it's been sitting in the movie pile for a few months. Heh. Yes, JACA, I know.
Keira Knightley does a wonderful job in this movie.
I have to say, even if you don't want to see it, you should just to see the end.
The end alone is beautiful and could win awards just like the beginning of Patton (another brilliant movie, by the way).

IRON MAN
WOW!!! That's all I have to say about this movie.
So far, this is the BEST movie of the year.
Between the amazing actors and the graphics, marvel has created a film that will be remembered far into the future. I've seen it twice now, once with the parents and the second time with Marsling, JACA, and Satling.
I also saw the Chronicles of Narnia. This second movie definitely leaves something to be desired. However, it's not a complete bust. The battle scene was pretty great.
Then there's Indiana Jones...good but not great. I have to say, I definitely enjoyed the random popping-up of prairie dogs in the middle of the screen.
Overall, the movie was entertaining but a tad bit far-fetched.

Betrayal
Do you know how it feels to be forgotten?
I think almost everyone does.
But over time the edge of the knife of pain dulls.
You forget exactly what the sensation of raw loss feels like.
Then, once again, you experience that very feeling.
Once again I am forgotten.
I am left behind.
Once more...and then again.
A repeated action tearing away at my endurance
Until there is nothing left to take.

Stream of Thoughts
Sometimes I feel as if I've forgotten something.
Something important...and I sit here and try to figure it out.
But I am expert on pushing problems to the back of my mind
so I can smile as if nothing was wrong.
But all the while the problem festers in the attic of my cranium.
Hell, I might as well keep pushing them back further into dusty corners.
It's all the same. The death of my soul, little by little, draws nearer.

A Poem I Wrote
Fallen Angel
A breath of frozen ice
Filmy, white frost in the air
She breathes…in…out
A safe haven inside,
She is not there
The boys, peeking at her through the tiny cracked window
Made of glass
Frost forms on the transparent surface, condensation for them to trace shapes in
A happy scene of family togetherness
But that girl lies there on the snow-packed ground
Outside that lovely haven
Helpless in the endless white expanse
Her wings heavy with snow
The boys, this time peeking through the door
A hole right in the middle where the wind whistles through on the best of days
Then – the door opens
The boys, cautious and silent, make their way across the path to the tree
The white birch fallen, its roots torn from the ground
They touch her bark tenderly and lift her, the snow falling from her branches
Which flap like the wings of an angel
She returns to her glorious height
And the rays of the sun shine through the gaps.
A breath of frozen ice
Filmy, white frost in the air
She breathes…in…out
A safe haven inside,
She is not there
The boys, peeking at her through the tiny cracked window
Made of glass
Frost forms on the transparent surface, condensation for them to trace shapes in

Blogosphere
Yes, that's right...the blogosphere.
There's a report on the development of blogging throughout the past few years.
I thought it was pretty interesting.
I bet some of you bloggers out there would like to see this report.

Musica
So...
Here I am again. I figure it's about time I put just a little journaling in so that people might actually have something to read. Heh. So I'm going to talk about music. Music is more than just noise to me. I live it, breathe it. I revel in it. It is air. I must have it every day (just like books). Every time I find a new song that's meaningful or enjoyable, it fills me up inside. The latest song is "Stand In The Rain" by Superchick. I usually don't listen to many christian rock bands, but this one is quite good. And that's my very short (cut off) version of my love of music. I just really wanted to talk about that song, too. See ya!
