I thought you were gone forever! My patience was rewarded, well perhaps not patience - really just hanging around hopefully. I just knew you'd produce good stuff and your postit find is just beautiful. I've got to rush off to work now but all the happier knowing that you are still out there. Love, Alec
Actually, I do call most sticky notes Post-it's. However, it is a brand name and this video was not sponsored by the Post-it people (I don't think). Hence sticky notes. It is nice to mix it up once in a while, though.
It didn't cross my trusting mind that 'post-it' is a brand name. Of course it is! We use lots of brand names generically, like hoover or put-u-up (for vacuum cleaner and sofa bed). I guess it's lucky if you are first on the scene! Love, Alec.
A short, mixed-up, vest loving, book reading, photo taking girl...
I am double majoring in Studio Art (Photography) and English and am minoring in Spanish. :)
"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to." — Jim Jarmusch

p.s. I've just realised you probably don't call them 'postits' - hence 'sticky notes'. I'm slow but I get there! <3
pps. Not that much of a 'rush' then!
